Introduction to the cleaning and protection of the cooler plate
In the regular maintenance of the chiller, the plate needs to be cleaned after disassembly and assembly, and the use condition is checked. If the device is found to be less severe, the scale is not serious.
It can be washed directly with water without removing the plate, and brushed with a soft brush.
First, normal operation and maintenance
1. Equipment that requires maintenance should be retrogradely disassembled in the order of installation.
2. Equipment used in the petroleum and chemical industries shall be regularly repaired according to the maintenance cycle.
3. If the medium in the equipment is a flammable, explosive or corrosive medium, it should be repaired at least once a year.
4. For plate coolers used in other industries, it is best to repair them once if there is no leakage.
Second, the cleaning and protection of the board
Keeping the sheets clean is one of the important conditions for maintaining a high heat transfer coefficient. Between the plates, the medium moves along a narrow, meandering flow path. Even if a less thick scale layer is produced, it will cause a change in the flow path, significantly affecting the movement of the fluid, increasing the pressure drop, and the heat transfer coefficient. Decrease, for example, the use of a plate cooler in heating, because the secondary water is not well treated, the flow channel is blocked for only two months during use and cannot continue to operate.
1. Chemical cleaning method
In this method, a chemical solution is circulated through the cooler to dissolve and discharge the dirt on the surface of the sheet. This method does not require the dismantling of the cooler, which simplifies the cleaning process and reduces the labor of cleaning. Since the corrugation of the sheet can promote the turbulent flow of the cleaning liquid and facilitate the dissolution of the scale layer, the chemical cleaning method is an ideal method.
2, mechanical (physical) cleaning method
In this method, the plate is manually washed with a brush to achieve the purpose of removing dirt on the surface of the plate. Although this method is relatively straightforward, it is not easy to clean for harder and thicker scale layers.
3. Comprehensive cleaning method
In the case where the dirt layer is relatively hard and thick, it is difficult to clean by simply using one of the above methods. The comprehensive method is to first soften the scale layer by chemical cleaning, and then remove the scale layer by mechanical (physical) cleaning method to keep the sheet clean.
