Copper tube aluminum fins are commonly used heat exchangers in air conditioning equipment. This kind of heat exchanger production process and equipment technology are relatively mature, so they are widely used. Because the air flow direction and heat transfer direction in the circular tube heat exchanger have a large included angle, the boundary layer separation and vortex detachment occur when crossing the round tube horizontally, so the resistance of this heat exchanger is large and the heat transfer efficiency is not high. According to the "field synergy" theory of enhanced heat transfer, the use of elliptical tubes, the heat transfer inside and outside the tube can be strengthened, and the heat transfer resistance outside the tube is greatly reduced. It can be applied to air conditioning equipment to reduce fan power consumption. Dunan Electromechanical has cooperated with foreign countries to develop a successful air-conditioning elliptical tube heat exchanger. The measured results show that the wind resistance is only 1/3~1/2 of the conventional surface cooler when the same cooling capacity is used.
