What Is The Difference Between Ribbed Tube And Flat Tube For Condenser Coil?

For the tube of condenser and evaporator coil, normally we have two option

1. Ribbed tube which we called inner thread tube

2. Flat tube which we called smoothe tube

Let's give you one example

Condenser coil requirements from our customer as following:

Heat load: 30kw

Condensing temperature: 58 degree

Inlet air temperature: 43 degree

Air flow rate: 10000m³/h

Dimension: Around 920*900

Following is our selection based on thread tube and smooth tube

You could find if use thread tube, 4 rows is enough, however is use flat tube it need 5 rows.
